Feeding the Homeless

Every third Sunday of the month the church makes and serves for anywhere from 30 to 60 people at the homeless center in downtown Hammond. All are welcomed to help in the preparation of the meal. We serve them a meat, salad, bread and butter and a dessert. During certain months Diana Gilbert and friends collect gloves and socks for them. The Church has been doing this for about 20 years. If you have any questions please contact  Pam Fordyce.

At this time our missions we sponsor are Christian Service Center located in Chicago , Chicagoland Immigrant Welcome Network P.O. Box 3393 Munster, IN 46321 and Kulpahar Children's Mission in India.

Kulpahar Kids Home and Christian School

Our Mission Statement

The Kulpahar Kids Home and Christian School exist to provide a quality Christian Education for children of impoverished Christian families! Our purpose has always been to save the child physically; give them a safe and loving environment in which to live, and give them a good which they would not have otherwise received! ALL for the ultimate goal of helping them to be the very best that they can be; to be HONEST which will make them a better Indian citizen and plant seeds for leading them to Christ! Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these”

South Side Kara Ladies Group supports Kulpahar through donations that help feed, house and  educate one of these KIDS!
